The “Inclusive Community Storytelling” Project’s Training Course Was Completed in Lecce, Italy.

The training brought together 24 youth workers, educators, and motivated youth from Italy, Greece, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Spain, focusing on storytelling as a tool to promote diversity and inclusion within communities.

Participants engaged in workshops to master impactful storytelling techniques, develop empathy, and plan future projects that advocate for inclusive societies. The training emphasized the EU Youth Strategy’s objectives of engaging, connecting, and empowering participants through intercultural dialogue and reflection, setting the stage for them to become active citizens and storytellers in their communities.

The project also offered participants the opportunity for intercultural exchange, sharing their cultures and learning from others, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of diversity.
