Progress and Planning: First Day of the Powerworms Project Third Learning Mobility

The third Learning Mobility of the Powerworms project, held on September 30, 2023, in Skopje, North Macedonia, began with a focus on key aspects of sustainable agriculture and organic waste management. The first day started with registration and welcoming. This was followed by a series of presentations and discussions addressing various work packages (WP) and intellectual outputs (IO). The discussions included the finalization of the Educational Requirements Analysis (WP02) by FACE, ongoing activities and task distribution for the Educational Toolbox Development (WP03) by Apricot Research Institute, and details about the Bio-composting and Vermicomposting Classroom – Manual & Guidelines (IO3.1) by NaturaInnova. Additionally, Innotomia led the discussion on developing and testing the PowerWORMS Application Software (IO3.2), and Internationale Arbeidsvereniging discussed the PowerWORMS Training Online Course (TOC) under WP04. The day also included planning for upcoming Learning, Teaching, and Training Activities (LTTA) in North Macedonia, Spain, and the Netherlands, and the next Transnational Project Meeting (TPM). Further discussions encompassed the design and development of promotional materials, website management, and dissemination plans by Innopolis (ILA), followed by project management topics led by Malatya Turgut Ozal University, focusing on financial issues, documentation, and questions. The day concluded with an evaluation of the TPM, certification distribution, and a small walking tour around Skopje City Center, allowing participants to network and discuss informally.
