ILA was represented at the Executive Nonprofit Sustainable Leadership Conference in Amsterdam, which took place in Amsterdam on April 4-5, 2024.
This two-day conference, hosted by Prof. Anthony Silard and Prof. Dr. Svetlana Khapova in Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, united senior NGO executives and representatives in a collaborative effort to foster leadership skills crucial for sustainable impact in the nonprofit sector.
The conference offered an extensive curriculum, including 17 hours of training on essential subjects like effective social change leadership, fundraising, strategic planning, social marketing, board development, financial management, and beyond. Featuring insights from 11 thought leaders, such as “Towards Sustainable Career Management in Nonprofit Organizations” by Sergey Gorbatov, “Scaling Up Your Nonprofit Organization” by Joris Ebbers and “Responsible Al & Digital Leadership for Social Impact” by Gabriel Mayrink. Each speaker brought valuable perspectives on overcoming challenges and fostering growth within nonprofit organizations.
ILA’s participation in this conference underscores our commitment to continuous learning and improvement. The knowledge and strategies gained are invaluable resources that will be integrated into our operations, enabling us to enhance our organizational strength and capacity for social innovation.
This experience has equipped ILA representatives with new tools and perspectives to advance our mission more effectively, fostering a more inclusive, sustainable, and impactful organization. We’re excited to apply what we have learned and continue our work with renewed energy and insight, driving positive change in the communities we serve.
Let’s move forward together, embracing these new strategies and insights to make a more significant impact.
