“European Human Rights Network of Towns” Project’s Transnational Project Meeting Was Held in Palermo, Italy, on 11 – 14 December 2022

Partners discussed the following agenda during the meeting.
▪ The 3P approach to building a culture of human rights in local communities – Prevention-Protection-Partnership, Partners’ Best Practices on 3P approach
▪ Defining human rights competencies and skills for change (a brief outline)
▪ Applying skills for human rights protection and prevention of human rights abuses at the local level -Groups work
▪ How can the topics of the local events translate into the local reality?
▪ Next Steps in the EUHRENET project

Impact:
The “European Human Rights Network of Towns” project addressed the need to consolidate local resources and hear from the local citizens about their needs and challenges to enjoy their human rights. The project contributed to developing new local civic activism groups and networks, promoting human rights, diversity and inclusion.
