Digital Health Literacy Project team met at the health literacy workshop in Darıca, Turkey.

Darıca District Governorship hosted project team at the health literacy workshop. Two nurses from the Provincial Health Directorate facilitated the workshop.

Participants discussed the key components of health literacy such as cultural and conceptual knowledge, print health literacy (writing and reading skills), oral health literacy (listening and speaking), and numeracy during the workshop. They also studied digital health categories such as mobile health (mHealth), health information technology (IT), wearable devices, telehealth and telemedicine, and personalized medicine.
