ILA Promotes Migrant Integration in Agriculture at EU Agri-Food Days
ILA took part in the EU Agri-Food Days held in Brussels from December 10–12, 2024, a premier event hosted by the European Commission to discuss sustainable agriculture, food security, and innovation in the agri-food sector. During the summit, ILA promoted its project, “Increase the Capacity of Migrants and Refugees in the Agriculture Sector,” which focuses on empowering migrants and refugees through tailored training programs, fostering integration, and addressing labour needs in agriculture. This initiative aligns with the event’s emphasis on training and skills development for a greener and more inclusive agricultural future while also fostering valuable connections with EU policymakers and industry experts.
