This guide is part of IO3 – WP03 PowerWORMS Teacher & Trainer Curriculum Development, under the Erasmus+ project VERMICOMPOSTING: The Future of Sustainable Agriculture and Organic Waste Management in Europe – PowerWORMS. It aims to equip educators, trainers, and agricultural practitioners with practical knowledge, methodologies, and tools for delivering training on vermicomposting.
Developed collaboratively by project partners across Europe, the guide includes 16 comprehensive lessons, 15 video tutorials, and downloadable teaching materials. It addresses key topics such as composting techniques, substrate management, earthworm biology, economic and environmental benefits, and policy frameworks. This resource supports sustainable farming practices and strengthens VET-based educational strategies for organic waste management through hands-on, accessible, and impactful learning experiences.
