Digital Health Literacy Course Program is presented to the Ministry of National Education Evaluation Commission.

Digital Health Literacy Course Program, prepared with the contributions of nurses from Darıca District Health Directorate, was received by Darıca Public Education Center to be presented to the evaluation commission.

After the course program is approved, it will be made available to 995 public education centers operating throughout Turkey. The centers will be able to offer digital health literacy training in all provinces, districts and villages, in public institutions, prisons and correctional institutions, hospitals requiring rehabilitation, workplaces belonging to public and private institutions, buildings belonging to formal education institutions and other places where needed.

Public Education Centers serve under the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate of Lifelong Learning. In Public Education Centers, 3 thousand 631 course programs are organized in 73 different areas. Course programs are planned to have a maximum of 8 lesson hours per day. More than 43 million people have attended the courses since 2014. The target this year is 7 million trainees.
