Taste of Europe YE address gastronomy in cultural heritage and takes place in Xylokastro, Greece. Municipality of Xylokastro will host participants from Greece, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, Latvia, Slovakia, Sweden and the Netherlands between 16-23.09.2018 including travel days.
Project aims to;
Build regional identities by giving visibility to traditional foods
Present regional gastronomy and typical local products of participating countries
Find similarities between traditions, habits and products
Think about future gastronomy trends in Europe
Develop awareness on healthy living and food sustainability
Promote the use of food and cuisine as instruments to create inter-cultural learning
